In following his destiny as the Fake Hero, Foil banished his best friend from the party, before best friend later returned, having awakened as the True Hero, to kill him — or, that should have happened. However, Foil is saved by Iris, an elf girl and the only one who understands his true nature. It is after she acknowledges him as “her hero” that Foil remembers how he had longed to save others, and so he embarks on a new adventure to become a Hero
So begins the tale of the fake hero that becomes a real hero!
